Instructor

I am a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and a yogi for 23 years. I came to yoga when my son was a toddler. In an “Ah ha!” moment I realized my reactions on the mat mirror my reactions to life in general.

I was graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service - International Politics from the Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service. I hold an associate’s degree in Nursing from Marymount University. While I enjoyed writing and editing, and later, working as a registered nurse, teaching yoga is my home.

My 200-hour yoga teacher’s training was through Genesis Yoga in Brenham, Texas where I am a 200-hour teacher-training instructor. I am a Jason Crandell 300-hour certified vinyasa instructor and 500-hour Yoga Alliance-registered Yoga Teacher. My Classes: Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Chair Yoga, Chair Yoga for Parkinson’s Disease, and Christian Devotional Yoga.
